Georgia Students Shine at the 2026 NSNA Annual Convention

This April, the Georgia Association of Nursing Students (GANS) was proud to represent our state at the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA) Annual Convention, held April 8-11, 2026 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
As Georgia’s NSNA constituent, GANS joined thousands of nursing students from across the country for educational sessions, leadership opportunities in the House of Delegates, career and program exhibits, and the chance to connect with future colleagues nationwide.
Among recognitions GANS received at the national level were the NSNA Daisy Award to a member of our board and the designation as the Most Successful Statewide Convention - 2026 Statewide Convention Planning Award. Safe to say we had an amazing time in Texas!
Attending NSNA connects our local advocacy to a national movement and reminds us that the work we do in Georgia is part of something much bigger. We also got a chance to connect with one another and build a wider support network as we navigate the challenges of nursing school. We can’t wait to bring what we learned back to our chapters across the state.
